Aðildargjald

Varðandi innheimtu á greiðslukröfu vegna aðildargjalds sem fór í heimabanka hjá ykkur 29. janúar verður að taka fram eftirfarandi:

Fyrri formaður, sem hafði sagt af sér sunnudaginn 28. janúar tók sér umboð til að senda út rukkun vegna aðildargjalds til félagsmanna daginn eftir þ.e. mánudaginn 29. janúar án vitneskju stjórnar. Í ljósi þess að fyrri formaður hafði sent út greiðslukröfu aðildargjalds eftir að afsögn, vildi stjórn ganga úr skugga um hvort þessi aðgerð stæðist lagalega og fundaði með bankanum vegna þess. Fulltrúi Íslandsbanka staðfesti að aðgerðin stæðist lög því fyrri formaður hafði enn prókúru á félagið þar til búið væri að ganga frá formlegum skiptum í gögnum bankans.

Aðildargjaldið er fyrir leiðsögumenn sem starfa aðeins hluta úr ári eða frekar lítið við fagið og ná því ekki að öðlast lágmarksréttindi með 1% iðgjaldagreiðslum af launum sínum fyrir leiðsögumannsstörf. Aðildargjaldið er valkvætt.

Einnig er það til að gefa kost á að halda faglegum tengslum við félagið og styðja við starfsemi þess sem fag- og stéttarfélags og býðst þannig leið til að taka virkan þátt í félagsstarfi Leiðsagnar.

Félagsmenn sem eingöngu greiða aðildargjald fá eftirfarandi réttindi:

• Atkvæðisrétt í kjöri til formanns, stjórnar og ráða og nefnda Leiðsagnar.
• Rétt til að bjóða sig fram til trúnaðarstarfa í þágu félagsins.
• Atkvæðisrétt í kjöri á aðalfundi og félagsfundum um allt nema
  kjaramál og kjarasamninga.
• Fá rafræn skírteini.
• Fá plastskírteini eftir gefnum forsendum.
• Aðgang að niðurgreiddum skyndihjálparnámskeiðum, fræðslufyrirlestrum, ferðum og viðburðum á vegum félagsins.
• Eiga rétt á aðstoð skrifstofu Leiðsagnar í sínum málum, þ.m.t. vegna álitamála um eigin kjör.

Félagsmenn sem greiða 1% iðgjald af launum til Leiðsagnar og uppfylla skilyrði um lágmarksréttindi, hafa öll þau réttindi sem eru hér að ofan talin, ásamt:

• Hafa atkvæðisrétt um kjaramál og kjarasamninga
• Eiga rétt á að sækja um styrki í Sjúkra- og orlofssjóð.
• Eiga rétt á að sækja um styrki í Endurmenntunarsjóð.

Membership fee

Regarding the collection of membership fees that was sent to members‘ on-line bank January 29, the following must be noted:

The previous chairman, who had resigned on Sunday, January 28, took authority to send out invoices for the membership fee to the members the following day, i.e. on Monday, January 29 without the knowledge of the board. In light of the fact that the previous chairman had sent out claims for the payment of the membership fee after her resignation, the board wanted to ascertain whether this action was legal and had a discussion with the bank for that reason. A representative of Íslandsbanki confirmed that the action was legal because the previous chairman still had authority until the change had been formally entered into the bank‘s records.

The membership fee is for guides who only work for part of the year or for a short time in the profession and therefore do not manage to acquire minimum qualifications with 1% premium payments of their salary for guiding work. The membership fee is optional.

It is also to provide an opportunity to maintain a professional relationship with the union and support its activities as a professional and trade union, thus offering a way to actively participate in the union‘s social activities.

Members who only pay a membership fee obtain the following rights:

• The right to vote in the election of chairman, the board and councils and committees of Leiðsögn.
• The right to candidacy for confidential positions in the interest of the company.
• The right to vote in elections at the general meeting and union meetings on everything except wage issues and collective agreements.
• Get electronic membership certificates.
• Get a plastic membership certificate according to applicable conditions.
• Access to subsidized first aid courses, educational lectures, trips and events organized by the union.
• Have the right to seek assistance at the union‘s office in their matters, including issues about wages or labour market rights.

Members who pay a 1% premium from their salary to Leiðsögn and meet the conditions for minimum rights, have in addition to the rights listed above, also the following rights:

• The right to vote on wage issues and collective agreements.
• The right to apply for benefits from the health and vacation fund.
• The right to apply for benefits from the continuing education fund.
