Aðildargjald fyrir árið 2025

Í heimabanka félagsmanna hefur nú verið sendur greiðsluseðill vegna aðildargjalds að fyrir árið 2025 með eindaga 15. mars 2025. Árlega aðildargjaldið er í viðbót við 1% iðgjaldagreiðslur af launum sem leiðsögumenn fá fyrir störf sín. Um aðildargjaldið segir í 6. gr. laga Leiðsagnar: 

Félagar í Leiðsögn skulu auk þess árlega greiða fast aðildargjald til félagsins. Fjárhæð aðildargjaldsins skal ákveðin á aðalfundi. Aðildargjald skal lækka um helming þegar félagsmaður nær 67 ára aldri. Nýir félagar í Leiðsögn eru undanþegnir greiðslu aðildargjalds fyrsta almanaksárið sem þeir greiða félagsgjöld sbr. 1. mgr.

Leiðsögumenn sem starfa aðeins hluta úr ári, eða frekar lítið við fagið, ná almennt ekki að öðlast lágmarksréttindi með 1% iðgjaldagreiðslum af launum sínum fyrir leiðsögumannsstörf. En með greiðslu aðildargjaldsins halda félagsmenn tengslum við félagið og hafa leið til að taka virkan þátt í félagsstarfi þess. Félagsmenn sem eingöngu greiða aðildargjald hafa eftirfarandi réttindi:

• Fá félagsskírteini: rafræn- eða plastskírteini, sem sótt er um á vefsíðu félagsins.
• Atkvæðisrétt í kjöri til formanns, stjórnar og ráða og nefndaLeiðsagnar.
• Rétt til að bjóða sig fram til trúnaðarstarfa í þágu félagsins.
• Atkvæðisrétt í kjöri á aðalfundi og félagsfundum um allt nema
  kjaramál og kjarasamninga.
• Aðgang að niðurgreiddum skyndihjálparnámskeiðum,fræðslufyrirlestrum, ferðum og viðburðum á vegum félagsins.
• Eiga rétt á aðstoð skrifstofu í sínum málum, þ.m.t. vegnaálitamála um eigin kjör.

Félagsmenn sem greiða 1% iðgjald af launum til Leiðsagnar og uppfylla skilyrði um lágmarksréttindi, hafa öll þau réttindi sem eru hér að ofan talin, ásamt:

• Hafa atkvæðisrétt um kjaramál og kjarasamninga.
• Eiga rétt á að sækja um styrki í Sjúkra- og orlofssjóð.
• Eiga rétt á að sækja um styrki í Endurmenntunarsjóð.

Membership fee for the year 2025

A payment slip for the Leiðsögn Guide Union membership fee for the year 2025 has now been sent to members' online banking with a deadline of 15. March 2025. The annual membership fee is in addition to the 1% premium payments of the salary that guides receive for their work. Regarding the membership fee, Article 6 of the Guides Union Act states:

Members of Guides shall also pay a fixed membership fee to the association annually. The amount of the membership fee shall be determined at the general meeting. The membership fee shall be reduced by half when a member reaches the age of 67. New members of Guides are exempt from paying the membership fee in the first calendar year in which they pay membership fees, cf. 1. paragraph.

Guides who work only part of the year, or rather little in the profession, generally do not achieve the minimum rights with 1% premium payments of their salary for guiding work. But by paying the membership fee, members remain connected to the association and have a way to participate in its activities. 
Members who only pay the membership fee have the following rights:

• Receive a membership card: an electronic or plastic card, which is applied for on the association's website.
• The right to vote in elections for the chairman, board and councils and committees of the Guidance.
• The right to run for office in the interests of the association.
• The right to vote in elections at the general meeting and association meetings on everything exceptwages and collective bargaining agreements.
• Access to subsidized first aid courses, educational lectures, trips and events organized by the association.
• Have the right to assistance from the office in their matters, including regarding disputes about their own wages.

Members who pay a 1% contribution of their salary to the Guide Union and meet the minimum rights requirements have all of the rights listed above, plus:

• Have the right to vote on wage issues and collective agreements.
• Have the right to apply for grants from the Sickness and Holiday Fund.
• Have the right to apply for grants from the Continuing Education Fund.
